Gathering Light is a relaxed project session for former students who want to return to the studio, keep building their skills, and spend more time working in glass. Choose from available project options and move through cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing with guidance available whenever you need it.
Rather than following a step-by-step beginner course, you’ll work more independently and settle back into the rhythm of the process at your own pace. Gathering Light is designed for students who have already completed a full stained glass project and are ready to reconnect with the craft, try something new, and enjoy making alongside familiar faces..
RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY - You must have previously taken a class with Vanessa to register.
Drop back into glass. Return to the studio for a 4.5 hour refresher project designed for former students who are ready to keep creating. Choose from one of our tear drop shaped patterns, enjoy access to the tools and workspace, and get guidance whenever you need it—all while reconnecting with the quiet rhythm of making glass together.
