Core Skills — November 14–15 Weekend Intensive
CORE SKILLS
Weekend Stained Glass Intensive
November 14–15, 2026 | Saturday & Sunday
10 AM–2 PM each day · $225 · 8 hours total
All materials included · No experience required
Two days. Real skills. One beautifully bad new obsession.
Ready to get to the core of stained glass? This two-day intensive takes you from your very first glass cut to your final solder joint. Whether you've already had your First Bite or you're jumping straight into the craft, Core Skills gives you the foundation to create stained glass art from start to finish.
Unlike our introductory workshop, you'll do the cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing yourself. With expert instruction and plenty of hands-on practice, you'll learn the essential techniques of the Tiffany-style copper-foil method while creating your own stained glass panel.
What to Expect
Saturday, November 14 | Cutting & Construction
Learn about glass selection, patterns, safe cutting techniques, and grinding. You'll choose from a variety of patterns, cut and shape your own glass pieces, then begin fitting and preparing your panel for assembly.
Sunday, November 15 | Foiling, Soldering & Finishing
Bring your project together! Learn copper foiling, soldering techniques, and finishing methods as you transform your individual glass pieces into a completed stained glass panel.
What's Included
All glass, materials, tools, and safety equipment are provided. Classes are limited to just four students, ensuring personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on guidance.
You'll leave with your own handmade stained glass panel and the foundational skills to continue exploring the craft independently.
Before You Arrive
Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that can get a little dusty. Long hair should be tied back when necessary. All required safety equipment will be provided.
This registration includes both four-hour sessions. Students must attend both days to complete the course.
Get to the Core. Learn the rules before you break them. 🍎
